Lacking basic level algebra skills is no reason to stop paying a Wall Street associate $200,000 a year. But when the guy at Barns and Noble tries explaining the nuances of his PHD thesis on quantum theory implications in foreign exchange markets post 9-11, I get a little uncomfortable and start to reconsider.
