(A) being a famous African American cyclist who (i) wins the tour de France 8 times, (ii) takes performance enhancing drugs, (iii) gets cancer, (iv) survives cancer, (v) leaves wife to marry Sheryl Crow who then gets cancer and survives...

OR

(B) being a white baseball player on the brink of breaking Babe Ruth's homerun record while juiced up on steroids, all the while getting the occasional citation for domestic abuse.

I still think I'd choose A.
